So when he appeased the Lord with holy prayers, then God forgave the people, but if on the contrary a king were ever to act badly, the hand of God would unleash troubles on all the people. And as the king corrected the ways of many men, because of this more now revere God, for the sake of which Christ, Who dwells in the highest houses, shall grant him bliss and undying fame. Thus at any rate He is sure to call his own servant, Well done, beloved fellow, come, take the talents!
