nor is anyone ignorant of the things that he did. Nor did he forget virtue despite the greatest profusion of burdens. At any rate, all who bear children owe him honour, so that he should now have deathless fame. And being at peace and capable he achieved much, and it is difficult for me to describe these things, but nor am I able to conceal them wholly in my thoughts and in my mind, but as I would go one way or the other, I wish to speak, so that enduring to posterity all should know and the renowned king should not escape notice.
